I don’t know about you, but I absolutely hate making decisions. So does my wife, in fact. Trying to figure out where to eat on date nights is quite a challenge. On one hand, I will eat just about anything except for Chinese and American food. On the other hand, my wife is incredibly picky and does not like most cuisines with the exception of, you guessed it, Chinese and American food. I typically defer the decision to my wife, who then defers to me. I will propose Mexican or Mediterranean, which will get vetoed. She will suggest Chinese or American, and I will resist the urge to vomit. Overall, I am very fortunate that the biggest thing my wife and I disagree over is something trivial like where to eat. There are certainly more important decisions to be made, like how are you going to get coverage on all the equipment needed for your financial institution to run smoothly? Equips is not the only player in this market, but I believe that Equips offers something special that nobody else in the market can match.
There are a lot of different groups that offer equipment coverage for financial institutions, and I mean a LOT. Some of them are manufacturers that build the equipment and only cover certain pieces of equipment. Others, like Equips, are third parties. All of us have the same goal: save you money and provide you peace of mind should one of your assets need maintenance or break down entirely. Here is where we are a little different. We at Equips think that it is outrageous that financial institutions must sort through multiple contracts and agreements just to get maintenance on the equipment that they already own. Here is how we are different: we have an enormous network of over 500 service providers and vendors across the United States that have agreed to do business with us and our clients. Because of this, our customers save up to 20% in comparison to traditional maintenance contracts. Oh! And the best part is this—it’s all in just a single contract.
Another way we are different is the way that we allow our users to go ahead and request maintenance and repairs on their equipment. Too often, financial institutions have to sort through many contracts in order to find which institution has coverage over the broken equipment, and then must reach out to a technician or service provider directly to schedule service. It is often the busiest people within the organization that are tasked with such trivial duties. Equips offers a different solution. Should a piece of equipment break down, all our customers have to do is log in to their Equips account, select the piece of equipment that needs attention, and request service. From there, the service provider is notified of the request. Equips will then keep you notified of when the technician will arrive and their progress in fixing your equipment. Equips, when paired with Equips coverage, makes requesting machine maintenance quick and efficient.
What’s really cool about Equips is that you don’t necessarily need to buy coverage in order to use this tool. In fact, some of our customers just use Equips as an efficient dispatch tool to interface with their preferred technicians. If you are “window shopping” different coverage solutions for your financial institution, enjoy a free trial of Equips. If it is not the right solution for your organization, no worries. We can still be friends. And if you have any questions about the different coverage options that we provide, feel free to drop us a line. Our solutions team is friendly, honest, and has a solution for everything. Well… almost everything. I still have to figure out where my wife and I are going to eat tonight.
Until next time, friends!
